The Activities Committee plans and oversees activities for the families in our community. Events take place throughout the year. They include events like St. Patrick’s Day party, Easter Egg Hunt for the children, Memorial Day Cookout, Music on the Green, Halloween Trunk or Treat, and a Santa Clause Parade.
We have a monthly Food Truck Night on the first Thursday of the month, Family Movie under the stars at the Chickee Hut, a yearly community garage sale, holiday decorating contest, and many other events.
We also collect various items for local charities through our outreach “Waterways Cares” Each month we ask members of the community to donate items that we deliver to charities and schools in our area. Food Truck Thursdays
On the first Thursday of every month come join us at the Clubhouse to enjoy a night off from cooking. We have two different Food Trucks every month. Times vary depending on the seasons. Additional information for each event can be found in the monthly Watch Newsletter.
Waterways Cares
Meredith Wiacek is the Chair of this outreach program to help those in need in our community. Look for updates in emails and the monthly Waterways Watch Newsletter for monthly donations. Meredith will pick up the items and you may drop them off at the monthly Food Truck Thursdays or drop off at 904 Grand Rapids Blvd. on the porch bench.
