Frequently Asked Questions
Question: How do I register my name in the front gate directory and get a CLICKER?
Answer: Contact or call our Property Manager at the clubhouse office 239-353-6887. There is a form to fill out at the Clubhouse office or online.
Question: What do I do if I have a complaint about a rule violation or anything dealing with the Common areas?
Answer: Notify the Property Manager or visit the Alliant Portal.
Question: How do I know what is going on in the community?
Answer: A monthly newsletter, the Waterways Watch, is emailed to all registered residents on the 25th of each month. You must sign a Consent Form saying you wish to receive emails, the monthly newsletter and news of interest to the residents. Activites Events are also sent out via email and on the Entrance Message Boards. Residents are to go to the Clubhouse office and fill out the consent form. The community maintains a website with information of interest to the residents. Log on to: www.wwnaples.com.
There are three bulletin boards located at each entrance and at the clubhouse that relays Board of Directors news as well as activity news.
Question: What is included in the HOA Quarterly Dues?
Answer: Bulk cable TV and Internet is provided by the Homeowner’s Association to each home. The infrastructure is fiber optic. Premium channels, sports and other packages can be purchased by individual residents from Comcast.
Question: How do I contact Comcast Cable?
Answer: Call their 800 number: 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489. When you call them you only need to give them your home address. This included High-Speed Internet called “The Blast”.
Question: Who are the Board of Directors, and when are they elected?
Answer: The Board of Directors are residents who volunteer their time to serve Waterways as the governing body. The residents elect the board at the Annual Meeting in January. Any resident “in good standing” may run for the Board of Directors by submitting their name prior to the Annual Meeting or with a nomination from the floor at the Annual Meeting.
Question: Where do I find the Rules and Regulations and Covenants that govern Waterways?
Answer: When you have the closing on your home, you should have received a copy of the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions from the closing agent. If you did not, contact the Property Manager at 239-353-6887 for information on obtaining a copy. The Rules and Regulations are available on Waterways Website.
Question: What is included in my property taxes?
Answer: Included in Property Taxes is Trash collection (Tuesday & Fridays) and Recycling (Tuesdays) and is provided by Collier County Utilities. Please contact the Collier County Utilities and have barrels delivered to your address if they were not left by previous homeowners. Place Recycle and Trash cans on opposite sides of your driveway on pick up days.
Question: What do I do about Yard Waste?
Answer: Place yard waste in a separate can and put out for pick up on Tuesdays. Call the Collier County Utilities Division for additional information.
Question: What is the procedure if I should receive a notice of violation from the Code Enforcement Committee? (CEC)
Answer: The Property Manager will give you time to correct the violation. If the violation is uncorrected, an appearance before the Community Enforcement Committee will be required. In some cases, fines will be issued. Contact the Property Manager at 239-353-6887 if you have questions.
Question: Where do I get a FOB for the clubhouse bathrooms, fitness center and the tennis courts?
Answer: You can obtain a FOB by contacting our Property Manager at 239-353-6887.
The cost is $15.00 per. (Fees subject to change)
Question: May I rent the Clubhouse for a private party and if so who do I contact?
Answer: Contact the Property Manager at 239-353-6887 for the availability of dates. The Clubhouse may be rented if there are no Community Activities scheduled. You will be required to post a $250 security deposit and will be charged a $75 rental fee for the first five (5) hours and additional money for anything over five (5) hours. A signed rental contract and checklist is required and may be obtained from the Property Manager. All fees are subject to change.
Question: I would like to enlarge my lanai, plant a tree, change the color of my house or garage, etc. What must I do in order to accomplish this?
Answer: You must complete the Architectural Approval Request Form, along with the documents required, and submit to the Architectural Review Committee. The ARC committee normally meets monthly at the Clubhouse. You will be notified whether your request is approved. Never start a project without approval from the ARC. You will find forms on the website or from the Property Manager.

Question: How do I rent a space at the storage lot?
Answer: Contact the Property Manager at 239-353-6887. Storage space is $600.00 per year paid in advance. There is a $50.00 fee for key to lot which is refundable. Loss of key is $50.00 for a replacement. Fees subject to change.
Question: What is the watering schedule for my home sprinkler system?
Answer: Homes ending in even numbers may water on Tuesday, Thursdays, and Sundays between midnight/12:00 AM – 6 AM ONLY. Homes ending in odd numbers may water on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at midnight/12:00 AM – 6 AM ONLY. Watering is subject to Collier County restrictions.

Question: What does it mean when I hear sirens going off?
Answer: The sirens indicate there is lighting in the area of Waterways.
ONE long blast indicates that lightning is in the area and THREE blasts indicates lightning has passed and is safe to go outside.
Question: Are private Yard Sales allowed?
Answer: NO, you may not have a private Yard Sale. Waterways Activities Committee hosts a community-wide Yard Sales on a Saturday in early November OR in the spring each year. This is advertised to the county and open from 8:am – 1:00 pm. A nominal fee/donation is collected to cover permits and advertising.
Question: How do Waterways Homeowners access the Gate if they do not have their Gate Clicker?
Answer: Homeowners, instead of scrolling through the directory, may punch in the first 4 digits on the call box, if you do not know it then scroll to your name to get the 4 numbers, the gate security system will call your phone, you hit 9 several times on your phone and the gate will let you in.
